Our handcrafted beds have an insert that contains the stuffing and can be removed. The stuffing insert is then inside another cushion that is made from calico and deters/stops fleas getting into the stuffing and breeding (this is because of the tight weave). This calico cushion is fully washable. The inserts then fit inside a Polar fleece and Cotton outer cover. The polar fleece side is warm, soft and cuddly for cold days and the other side a cotton for hotter days. High quality polar fleece, cotton and stuffing are used in all beds. The covers are made a little big to compensate for any shrinkage. Our beds are lightweight and are easy to fluff up with sturdy handles making it easy to lift and carry.
Size

Our beds are at least 6 - 8 inches thick (this is made thicker for the bigger dogs). This thickness supports and cushions the dogs joints, keeps them warm and off the ground. Our beds are great for dogs with arthritis. 
Our beds are made to order with three standard sizes of 1m x 1.4m, 1.5m x 1.5m and 1.5m x 2m. Larger dogs and dogs with special requirements are treated with TLC and can make them thicker if required.
